I think I'm gonna give up translating these... There are too many unknown kanji, which I can't even find in dictionaries (Okuu's last line and Sadako's first are just two instances), and I'm not willing to guess their meaning.
Unsightly as it is, I'm going to leave these half-translated and hope someone with better Japanese than me picks up.
