Well, that's a way to sleep, too.

And the winner by knockout is: SANAE!

The cooking was unbelievably tasty, so that wasn't a problem, but my wallet took some serious damage. :-) And thus did my first day there come to an end.

By the way, for a change, the hotel had a ton of wall outlets and an iPod dock, so it was like some mega-jackpot for me.

Reader-added tags include "How much did you use, Kogasa-san?", "D'ough!"*, and "Good night (in the 'eternal rest' sense".

*"Okkanee!", an old-fashioned dialectal slang expressing fear or amazement, which happens to sound like "o'kane", a polite way to refer to money.

The survey takes a tangent topic:

    What's important about a hotel?
    • Price
    • Sleeping comfort of the bed
    • Soundproofness
    • Food quality
    • No protective wards stuck on the back of the paintings

No Wifi, Toilet Cleanliness, air conditioner, services, etc. options? Those are a big deal breaker for me

For me, the important part is always wi-fi internet access.

*Free* wi-fi internet access. (Lookin' at yu, Holiday Inn)

Usually I get that feeling in the morning rather than the night.

Price, though bed bugs can push the second option to be most important. If it has cushions, I can sleep on it.

    • No protective wards stuck on the back of the paintings

I'm not sure whether this one is for youkai, the paranoid, or the art thieves.

Don't worry about money so much, Kogasa-san. Just have a good time and worry about the penny pinching later! Or, in case of economic panic, there's a Sanae-san nearby with a proper solution. That's one way to knock financial woes out of someone's head. Sanae-san has the right attitude about it!

For the poll, the price is a big thing for me. Having wifi is a big plus. Those are the two things I care the most about in a hotel room. I usually sleep on the floor, so I'm not too worried about the beds. I've never had issues with loud noises, hotel food costs too much, and I wouldn't be bothered by wards on paintings.

Oh, and I have to ask, but did anyone else read "D'ough" from the translated pixiv comments in Homer Simpson's voice?

    Breezy

    Ah, money issues.

Not to be nitpicky, but Kogasa's pillow disappears in the last panel.

Don't regret it Kogasa, good food is one good reason to spend money on

If they didn't, I wasn't doing my job correctly.

    >Okkanee as D'ough
You know, Moonspeaker, I think there are plenty of so-called "pro" translators that could learn from you how to do *good* translations. Good that you're on Danbooru, and too bad that you can't clone yourself to translate X times more :3
