Never ate a tongue before since I feel kinda icky when I look at it. But now, I'd like to give it a try(if it looks like this,though).

That's only true if it's prepared well, but most places that offer tongue usually have a chef qualified enough to handle it. We once marinaded a couple of tongues and had them smoked. Afterwards, they made great additions to cold buffets when sliced very thinly.

It was so tasty, we were deeply moved.
Well, "to your heart's content" isn't the same as "all you can eat", so there WERE limits! :-) It was pay-your-own-way, so I ate my membership fee's worth! The restaurant's a chain with branches in Tokyo, too.

By the way, I goofed on the seating arrangement for the two of us in panel 4. I confirmed it, and then I drew it wrong. :-)

I want beef tongue.

Now I want barley soup. It's damn good, and filling too.

I'm with the pixiv group; Kogasa-san, you're going to end up on such a strict diet when you get back home. So worth it, though. How many times do you get a chance at some good quality food, right? Enjoy it while you can, Kogasa-san!

For the poll, Tororo sounds like it would be delicious. I'd want to try some of that before digging into the beef tongue.
