You are 50 and in charge of the attire that dictates what young sub-18 ladies will wear. Choose one:

1) Skirts. Short enough to entice your imagination, long enough to... skirt... legal obligations
OR
2) Long, unattractive, pants.

Hey, pants can be plenty attractive.

I'm sad that I actually recognize most of them.

The majority of people who watch and purchase anime related material are male otaku. The short skirts cater towards this audience.

Somehow, going through the list and seeing that bright blue Kirameki High uniform in there made me happy.

Seeing how most of the ones represented here are winter uniforms, it makes me wonder what the winter uniforms in Tokyo-3 would look like...you know, were it not Summer all day erry day.

The "male uniform" for Kannagi doesn't even really look like a uniform. Heck, I wear shirts and pants like that oon a daily basis!

when i was in elementary we used to wear the same hat, it's looks fine when you're in 1-4th grade but looks ridiculous when you're 5th and 6th grade.

Regulation in schools throughout the world is generally "below the knee", but most girls tend to roll their skirts up above it anyway, whether in the real or animated world.
