Actually, no. Sengoku basara and samurai warriors are two different games albeit using the very same sengoku era setting. One was made by capcom and one was made by Koei. Also, samurai warriors is known as sengoku musou in Japan and sengoku basara first published as devil kings in the western market
Urrgh...long day, and I'm still dealing with it. Taking a brief break to toss in the usual extras:
I was amazed at all the ridiculously good art that was racked up there.
And just to be sure, I'll state for the record that I'm not especially in the anti-votive picture camp. I figure that as long as you don't draw something pointlessly erotic, it's fine.
I also offered a votive picture at the Suwa Shrine last year! I've been thinking I should draw that story, but the question is "When?" (^^;)
By the way, I got my Sanae-san to do the lettering in panel 3. :-)
Reader-added tags include "So no tanukis allowed. I see...", "You've said something clever, Sanae-san", and "Sticking out like a sore thumb".
The poll discusses popular historical figures:
Who's your favorite military commander?: • Date Masamune • Oda Nobunaga • Tokugawa Ieyasu • Takeda Shingen • Toyotomi Hideyoshi

That's Sengoku Musou you're talking about just as dynasty warriors is known as Sangoku Musou.
And the current rankings are: Nobunga Masamune Shingen (my choice; imagine what'd he do if he lived longer) Hideyoshi Tokugawa (guy really doesn't get much love, doesn't help he gets a lesser billing in games, but boy did he get to laugh last)

Yeah but it doesn't stop people from loving Mitsunari or Yukimura.
It's full of Sengoku Basara feeling.Miyagi Prefecture Gokoku Shrine.I Got Lots Of These (LOL)Well, guess we'll go back after I draw a votive tablet! What are you going to draw? That's a secret.♡Masamune-sama♡ClapClapCan I really hang my votive tablet here?It has quite the effeminate feeling, doesn't it?
Sanae calls it "floral" but replaces the first character with the kanji for "rotten" implying that the it has a fujoshi feel to it.
