Pre-translation: I'm wondering whether this is on the train or at the hotel. Either way, it looks like Hitoshi wanted to go overboard on the souvenir photographs...

EDIT: Nico broadcast...? All right, just WHAT is the convention that he's going to?!

EDIT THE SECOND: For karaoke...? Didn't think THAT had fallen under Serious Business jurisdiction, even in Japan. Or is this his way of dealing with rhythm game withdrawal?

You really are WELL PREPARED Kogasa!!

I know that pain. These things never let you go, they are stalking you, waiting for a chance when you have some spare time, only to strike again... Not to mention they are so f-ng fun :3 I wonder if karaoke is as addictive.

I wish our trains had electricity plugs here in the Netherlands. We cannot even have WiFi here (Well, on some tracks they have).

Lol. We DO have plugs on long-distance trains here in Russia (usually one per car), but I wish we didn't. If you plug in anything other then shaver, you can say goodbye to it for good, since voltage can jump up and down in ~100V range. And we can't even complain, since (technically) we DO have electricity! :3

Some newer trains have plugs for every 2 seats here in Finland. (and those trains usually also have a free wireless connection) The older ones usually have plugs next to computer seats (6 or so such seats in some carts)

My bag's always packed to the gills. Mostly with my tablet PC and its external battery and stuff! And so these days, when I pack a mic or a mixer or a camera or cables or a QB doll, I don't know what's what any more.

This time, I also brought my travel bag, but of course, it had the battery charging cable and such in it. I only had one change of clothes! :-)

Reader-added tags include "You're a karaoke-holic, Kogasa-san", "Complete the contract, Kogasa-san!" and "Kogasa puts Nico Live ahead of daily necessities".

Today's survey seeks to compare carryall circumstances:

What items creep into your bag?
    • Schedule book
    • Notebook PC
    • Camera
    • Cell phone
    • Snacks

Always be prepared for any situation. It's why I always carry an MP3, PSP, notebook, and books. Sadly I own no phone so being crazy prepared is slightly flawed.

Oh, goodness, Kogasa-san, you sure packed a lot of things for karaoke, didn't you? Well, if Kogasa-san ever has to save the world through karaoke, no one can say she wasn't prepared to do it. It comes as no surprise to see Sanae-san be just a little annoyed; Kogasa-san has a bit of an addiction, doesn't she?

For the poll, I have to have the notebook PC. I can't go somewhere without having one with me. I have to have Internet where I'm going, too, so I can stay caught up with things.

    The man is prepared.

For the poll, I wanted to say cellphone and schedule book, but then I realized I put my cell in my pocket, and my schedule is in that, so I guess just snacks.

In Hungary, the InterCity trains usually have two sockets per wagon, for the vacuums, but since they can be turned off in each wagon independently, there's a 50-50 chance of them working. First class has one socket for each seat. Some of the newer wagons have four-seat islands, with one socket per seat.
However, even if the sockets are powered, they turn off regularly for about 10-15 seconds, for reasons beyond me. I can't complain, since on average, the power balance works out positive.

    The Shadow

The one train I've been on here in the US had plugs up and down it. Can't tell you the spacing, it was late and I really didn't pay much attention.

    Crazy prepared, aren't you Kogasauthor-san?

    HashireKazemeijin

When going on trips, I always have my laptop and the whole pile of laptop accessories, plug splitters, my phone, DS, and iPod.

Haven't gotten an extension cord yet though.
