question: since i'm going to upload more pics of her, what should i do about the doujin pages? usually they'd have to be in a pool, but most of them are just 3 or 4 pages, would creating child posts for this be ok? (first-time uploader, so take good care of me)

If they are 3-4 pages then parent/child is probably just fine. More than that and I'd pool them for sure.

really? i've read this sithes wiki entries about the original and the pixiv projects tag, and they state: "Use this tag when the artwork is an original creation and does not contain characters from established anime or game" // Images are mostly original creation, i.e. characters and scenes did not come from any established copyright. that's why i don't think it's wrong to tag both. if it's uncommon though, i'll stop doing it^^
Well just because people on Pixiv say or do something doesn't mean we'll automatically follow suit. Of course you should take what they say into consideration, but at the end of the day we aren't Pixiv.
At any rate, original is meant to be a counterpoint to copyright tags to signify that an image isn't from "something" (anime, games, books, ect.). Pixiv Fantasia is a copy tag because it is "something", as it were, ergo the original tag doesn't apply.
just to make things clear, when i said the quoted text was from this sites wiki, i've been talking about danbooru, not pixiv e.g. it's "our" definition. so it's not THAT absurd to use both tags, but as i've stated already, i'll handle it differently in the future
