Finally back home, heart-warming indeed! Perfect happy end!

Somehow, I find it creepy to have those eyes looking at them while they're "hugging".

Embrace those mountains of faith, Mizuki-san! You probably missed them.

Don't see a problem. It is like being hugged/hugging at the airport just outside the gates where dozens of others are also watching/waiting.

It's my understanding that public displays of affection to this level are very rare in Japan, even at airports.

Coming home to your loving wife after a long time away. I'm guessing he'll want a little sleep before rocking the foundations of his home with his wife.

I see what you did there. And I approve.

    Good End!

A happy ending for Kogasa's long odyssey.

And so, Kogasa-san returned to Sanae-san. After running for three months, the travelog of my Boston trip has finally come to an end...or so you'd think, but it's got a few more strips to go. Well, they actually feel more like a sequel, so as a travelog, the story ends here. Thanks for all your effort over this long haul, everyone. And thank you so much for reading.

Thank you very much, too, to everyone who took care of me in Boston. This trip was truly something I'll remember all my life.

In closing, I'm releasing some of the photos that I took during this trip: http://goo.gl/7d8j1

Reader-added tags include "Welcome back, Kogasa-san", "Boob-Burial Corps" ("Oppai Uzimari-tai", likely a pun on "I want to bury down in those boobs"), "This is probably what happiness is", "I'm jealous, Kogasa-san" and "A relationship good enough to come meet without being told".

The survey asks what comes next:

What should I do when I've come back from overseas?
    • For now, go to sleep
    • Eat some Japanese food
    • Watch the programs I had recorded!
    • Work...I guess...
    • Let's go to karaoke!

After a long journey, it's nice to finally be home.

    Wait what? Three months?!
    *Checks back*
....Truth, this is the 89th strip of Boston arc. Holey sheet. Time sure flies by when waiting for new strips.

Also, it sure is nice to have someone you want to hug like that when you get back home. I'd go paru-paru, but I can't even get jealous of happy people. I guess, your luck counterbalances all your misfortune, Kogasa-san - ain't that great? :3

Thank you very much for honoring us with your presence, Mizuki-san! Perhaps we will be able to work out something like this again some day.

    - From Hoshiguma Yamame

(Also, Shou-san had a message for you: "Thank you very much for the kind thoughts about my cosplay. I'm sorry you didn't get me for the photo, but if you can come back, and I'll definitely stop!")

A smile came to my face when i saw this.

    • Work...I guess...

Oh man that was funny and gave me a twinge of sadness. A lot of the Japs there are quite overworked.

After a trip, I always, always need more sleep. Not exciting or profound, but I'm always wiped out.

Kogasa-san is in her happy place. Welcome back! I don't blame her for being a little worn; so much excitement was packed into three days of convention! Thanks for sharing your photos with us, Mizuki-san!

For the poll, there is but one option: Let's go to Karaoke, and sing a happy song, so we can remember all the good times we had, instead of being sad that it's over.

We're all greatly honored to have been able to bring you over to Boston, Mizuki-san! We all had a great time sharing the convention with you. I hope we will be able to do this again someday. No goodbyes, just see you later.

As we approach the conclusion of the Anime Boston arc, all of us look forward to see what Kogasa-san's next adventure is; thanks for continuing to share Kogasa-san's story with us!

I received a reply from Mizuki-san on reposting the thank you image with the penguins from Sanae-san.

    こんにちは。
    早苗さんにお話をするのが遅くなってお返事遅れました、すいません。

    再投稿の件ですが、OKだそうです。
    サーバーの整理をしててうっかり消してしまったそうです。

I'm able to read the gist of it, but I won't try to translate it word for word. I'd be completely missing the tone and minor points like that if I tried right now. The essence of it is that the image was accidentally deleted while reorganizing his server. It should be OK to repost it.

So, without further ado, here's the image again. http://i.imgur.com/5LxU9.jpg

After I get some sleep, I'll take the time and give this the translation attempt it deserves. I'll also write out a proper reply to him.

Ah, so long, and yet so brief. With such a sweet ending: Hug her more, Kogasa-san! :)

It was great having you, Mizuki. Let us know how much help you'd need to make it next year, alright?

    Hello there.

I ran late talking to Sanae-san, so I'm late in responding, sorry.

Regarding the reposting matter, it seems it's OK. Apparently, she carelessly deleted it while organizing the server.

    Mizuki Hitoshi

(He uses the verb suffix "-sou desu" ("it seems/I hear that..."), implying that he isn't the one who deleted it or gave permission for reposting.)

Now I have an awesome story to tell, about a power that community can muster up sometimes, and this photo makes great final chord.

If you have to be away from your spouse for an extended amount of time make sure you arrive back home two days early. Take those two days and "make up" for the time spent away, if you get my drift.
