I think he's at the right station, but the wrong train showed up, and the guy's going to blindly get on.

Well, I can feel his pain on that - I feel the same when I try to write some official stuff in English, and when I even TRY to communicate in Japanese. Not to mention I'm probably much worse with the latter :3

I thought about taking him along all the way to his destination, but I'd been told things like "You should be discreet about such things," so I decided to part ways at Shinagawa. It seems I can generally manage somehow with direct communication, but it's hardly as if I know all the routes either, so he apparently ended up having to do some rather complicated stuff. Well, that just means it was the fault of the person he asked! (^^;)

By the way, he told me "I'll give you cigarettes as thanks!" and tried to hand over a carton, but I don't smoke, so I declined.

And Kogasa-san finally sets our man straight... into a dead end. Well, no one is perfect. As long as he got to his destination, she got it right. And so the final hurdle between Kogasa-san and Sanae-san is cleared! Or is it?

For the poll, a third eye would be a nice cheat, but compulsory study, like last time, given by Sanae-san would make for some great entertainment! (That, and who wouldn't mind Sanae teaching them English, right?)

Living in a foreign country to learn its language is effective, if a bit Lunatic-level crazy unless you have at least someone to fall back on. It took me only 3 months to fully grasp the English language... At the cost of my native tongue. (lol.)

Kogasa could live here in the USA for a while, but I believe she would get the wrong type of 'English' from us.

Oh hey, that looks like a Keikyu line train. I used to use that line to get to Tokyo from Yokosuka quite a bit. The Keikyu line ends as Sengakuji and the Asakusa line started from there.

All my experiences with Toei's stations sometimes has me convinced whoever designed those lines also designed Hyrule's Forest Temple, it can be very confusing at first...

Yep, but AFAIK Englsh transcriptions are usually written with different alphabet (katakana), while he uses hiragana. I don't know exactly what that means, I can only guess that's meant to reflect his own accent/lack of proper english, because "spelling with hiragana" is what kids do early in schools, before they learn katakana alphabet :3
