A daydream of mine, based on the "Tiger of the Sand", the Tiger I. The color scheme is a "what if" based on the Battle of the Bulge. Maybe I could do a Battle of the Bulge land striker story if I finish SW1940... Not like the end is in sight. Maybe I could make a "Battle of the Bulge Witches" series, though. Next: post #1176909
"Battle of the Bulge" is one of my favorite war movies. I watched it over and over on VHS as a kid. The tanks they used in the movie weren't real designs, but it's amazing how real they feel; you can tell how much time they spent trying to recreate real designs. Anyway, Col. Hessler (played by Robert Shaw) was really cool. The scene where all the young tank drivers sing the Panzerlied was really striking. It's a pretty old movie (released in 1965), but it's still really fun to watch. If you're interested, please watch the DVD. ...half of the commentary ended up being about the movie.
This is the grandmother of Eliza Hessler in SW1991. The 1991 character was first, but now that I've started a Second Neuroi War series, she's finally showed up.
