Looks like they forced Yuuka to use that Spell Card after all. Which means Rumia indeed has two spell cards to use, and if what Reimu said is true, then Yuuka can't use her third card unless she gets the right condition to use it. This should be good.

And if that doesn't work, Rumia will have to go Ex.
Oh my God, Mystia, you idiot. Seriously, I know they're all supposed to be dumb, but everyone else did their jobs so well, especially poor Wriggle, and Mystia does... this.
huh... ok? think about it for a second, Wriggle took a shot for the team, for all we known, it could have been so Mystia could, not get a shot at Yuuka, but make her use her last spellcard, she speaking means Yuuka will shot at her and probably not miss.
Granted, the fact she looks surprised kinda bring down this theory

there's also the fact that Yuuka didn't declare a spell card when she took down Mystia. i'm going to guess Rumia tricked (at least Mystia) into some kind of a set up so she could hopefully beat a handicapped, spellcardless Yuuka.

as far as i can tell, all the spell car names shown in this series are shown in their usual brackets. also when you stop and think about it, she used her first spell card on Cirno and Dai-chan, she also took out Wriggle (i don't know for sure, i missed that page), lets presume she used two spell cards (one for Cirno and Dai, the other on Wriggle, and lets also presume she can't use her third spell card (Master Spark), how could she have taken out Mystia? besides, it kind of looked like Yuuka's charged shot from PoFV.
The text around Yuuka is firing noises -- basically "pew pew pew" with less embarrassment. Same goes for the text around Mystia in the next two panels. I'm not quite sure how to note them.
Zaku_Zelo said: And Mystia's suddenly a moron. There goes my suspension of belief.
Did you mean "suspension of disbelief"? Cuz', canonically, Mystia is stupid. All of Team 9 are. Not as stupid as fanon tends to exaggerate, but they are stupider than the average Touhou character, especially someone like Yuuka.
Even worse, Mystia is canonically a braggart who tries to talk big when she thinks she has an advantage. I can totally see her slipping by talking trash when she thinks everyhting is going according to plan. Remember, in Imperishable Night she mouths off to Reimu & Yukari/Yuyuko & Youmu/Remilia & Sakuya/Marisa & Alice before the battle even begins despite it being two-on-one.
The only real cleverness she has ever shown was her eel cart/stand scam where she'd use her powers to cause night-blindness then lure people to her stand where she'd sell her food as a cure for night-blindness, and its not hard for even an idiot to think of a scheme to exploit their natural talents.
