Samus got the easiest job, coating the cake in chocolate (notice the pikmin revealing the inside is actually, well, cake).
Besides, Samus' Bounty Hunter skillset and Zelda's Magical Leader skillset probably don't exactly mesh well with Cake Baking, which is kind of Peach's thing.
