    I have a Touhou shogi set. It's up-to-date to UFO. It's just made of art foam slabs with sprite art, piece denotations and movement denotations stuck onto them (double-sided for the pieces that need it)

    The kings are Reimu and Marisa. The pawns are Tewi and Lily White. They upgrade to Suika and Lily Black.

    An old friend of mine used to make custom chess sets out of stone or wood. Maybe he still does, I dunno. But I could never afford one. He made a really nice Growlanser/Langriser set for a guy a few years back (before GL6 came out)

    On a standard chessboard, from Black's POV, the fourth file from the left is the king's file. Either this isn't a standard chessboard, or both white and black have made the rather unconventional decision to move their kings before castling. That said, bxc4.

    True, either the artist wrongfully places the king and queen or simply flandre is the king and remilia is the queen which means black is in check condition. (sakuya = knight to flandre = king)..

    Man if I could just set the Queen free from the limited space. Remilia has a LOT of room to skewer several of my pieces....
