I kinda thought the same thing too when I looked at the hair but post #1076415 makes me think differently. Granted I'm working purely on conjecture here. But going off of that page alone, I've concluded that Tama and Tatsu are different type.

Especially since Tatsu was so desperate to find a girl successor that she mentioned not carring what kind of dragon Tama was, the fact that she is a dragon girl was enough. I take it to mean that if dragons were plentiful, Tatsu would probably have preffered a dragon of her same race.

This just had to happen when Seren was chibi, didn't it?

I guess we'll find out just how well that nekomimi focusing headband works, when Seren finds out about this. ..

Got to remember that Eastern Dragons tend to be more godlike in their cosmology than Western Dragons are in their own. No idea what happens in a crossover like this, though.

Still, Tamaryu was killed and reborn just a few Dragon years ago (if that) while Heavenly Dragon Sr. here is probably just past her peak. That's got to count for something.
