No, Kamereon's doujinshi was pretty good even with the "it's just a movie scenario!" thing. Dream/illusion/etc endings are crappy only because they usually are trying to escape from the responsibility of finishing the story satisfyingly (i.e. wrapping up the conflicts, explaining all mysteries, etc). If the dream ending is removed, the story becomes incomplete and nonsensical. Kamereon's story was different, it'd already finished the story very beautifully.
