For all you first-time readers, pleased to meet you! And for those of you who aren't, welcome back! It's me, Ao. This time, I've put out my first Flan book in a year. I don't know if it's been that long a while or not, but at my publishing pace of 3-4 books per year, I'm pretty sure it has been, yeah.
While I say it's a Flan book, the truth is, Flan doesn't have that big a part in it. It's all Marisa's doing. When she shows up, she just steals the scene, huh. It may be because I like Marisa, but even so, it bothers me. The next time Flan gets the lead role, I'm thinking it might be a good idea to try restricting Marisa from appearing. But Flan-Mari...aah, Flan-Mari....I thought up the core idea for this book when I was at a family restaurant just talking nonsense with Bococho-san. Thank you so much! I started drawing it after deciding on a concept of drawing a bunch of shot stories, but it was a bigger hardship than I thought. I personally experienced the anecdote that compiling short stories is tougher than drawing a long story. Still, I learned a lot, and I'd like to try it again if I have the chance. Viva organizational power! Well, this is a good point in time, so I'll sign off here.
In closing, to those of you standing before me who pick up this book, I say, "Thank you very much!"
