F-16, or Mitsubishi F-2? Likewise, the plane in the background brings to mind the Su-27.

I don't think it's F-16, if you look at the tail rudder. It's above the thruster.
Plus it got no 'fin' underneath the thruster.
And you're right about the SU-27.
