Haha, yeah, no. A ghost being killed by, what? Something collapsing on her. Sorry, but that's too retarded to buy even for a second. Not surprising though, considering how terrible the attempts at 'storytelling' in the rest of this artists doujin are.
There's one thing to disregarding canon to give characters an alternate interpretation. It's another entirely to disregard even basic facts about the characters very nature in order to force a plot to work. Fuck.

Please don't say that.It is important to respect artists' creativity, but taking too much characterization out not only defeats the purpose of a doujinshi but also... weird.

And what to say to the lots of Remilias that walks out in the sun and sees herself in mirrors, Yoshikas that walk normally, ex-Keines outside of full moon... etc etc etc.
Nitpicking on Touhou doujins will make you unhappy, don't do that.
Also, ghosts in Gensokyo eat, sleep and get beaten just like living people. Tenshi and Sakuya have beaten Yuyuko despite both being users of solid objects. I don't see what's so alarming in having Murasa being crushed and killed like this.
