In the epic, Enkidu's a guy... and both Gil and him were best buddies. Too bad Ishtar was butthurt at Gil rejecting her and had a god send a bull of heaven who that was killed by the two, sparking an outcry amongst the gods against the two.

So something DID obviously happen between them but like you said it was totally acceptable back then.

I was talking about Fate/Strange Fake Enkidu not the epic one

Since it's a "formless being", Enkidu's not a girl either. The trap tag still applies.
