A Playstation 2 RPG and the latest spin-off of the overarching Shin Megami Tensei series. Persona 4 was released in Japan in July 2008, North America in December 2008, and Europe in March 2009. Like previous games, the player will assume control of a character they name themselves, and follow a story while building relationships, dealing with the occult, and fighting using aspects of their personalities called Personas.
