I'm somewhat stumped over Remilia's Engrish.

    As for the image itself:
If Remilia is actually from 16th century France, she does have a good excuse.

...though with Patchy and her library around, that might not be such a good excuse after all.

Or she could be from Transylvania.

After all she's supposedly related to Teppes or something.

That's according to her, but ZUN says she really isn't.

The French theory is because Flandre's name is French in origin. It also depends on when exactly they came to Gensokyo, since there are conflicting theories and dates as to when, before which they could've picked up English.

The last name Scarlet(t) is also of (Norman) French origin, and their outfits also resemble French sleepwear. ('though the latter is true for a lot of Touhou characters as well)

Nothing definitive, but preponderance of evidence does suggest France.

So we're pretty much going for French then... French Vampires... that's fairly new on my books, rarely heard they're from France.

I love how her English sounds like the old school "bleh Dracula bleh" vampires.

Flandres is a region in Belgium as well. So maybe that's how Flandre Scarlet got her name. Its unlikely to make a difference since they are 495 years old.

Aaah, so you're really Asian? East-Asian, for those who want to be pedantic.
    Come on!
    I ha...
    have...
Ah, no. You're mistaken. That wasn't what I meant.
I mean I can, got it?
    Ah!
...So that means you can speak English really well!!
    That's a foolish question.
Since you are called "Remilia", are you a foreigner?
    Huhu...
    That's a foolish question.
    Try saying something difficult-ze!
    Eh?
So you can't speak English after all.
    ......Lah!!
