Am I the only one who thinks the IN versions look overall better than the PoFV ones? (save maybe Marisa)

I think it's a tossup. But the PoFV endings have FAR superior art. Go Eirin!

That is ZUN quality. As the game gets better, art gets...well you know.

thankfully, undefined fantastic object seems to be a big step forward in the art department (imo anyway)

PCB still has the best art of any game to date in my opinion.

I remember always laughing at Sakuya's face in ESOD whenever I fought her. Meiling's too.

And is also an acquired taste. I prefer IAMP and SWR character renditions more IMO

I'd say out of all of them, MArisa's EoSD portrait is easily the best

EoSD Sakuya has an eye bigger than the other.

While some people think ZUN's art isn't the best art out there, it's also the most interesting to look at in my perspective. I actually cannot wait to see his artwork in Ten Desires. There's something very quirky about his art I just can't put my finger on.

...so which one set would anybody say is the best? I'm stuck between PCB and PoFV myself.

I love Sakuya's and Meiling's faces in EoSD, but(despite it not being pictured), I do believe UFO has the best art of all.

This is the official art, whatever you have to say about it.

I like it very much, looks 90s-reminiscent.

ZUN'S art style is kind of weird aesthetic but oddly good
