He will in time, I doubt Norman was instantly badass overnight. Sure, Ruby does favor things that are more feminine like contests and other domestic chores. He has a streak about him that makes him a talented and fierce battler. His personality changed, and he changed himself because of the events that transpired before the main story started. So I think he just has to grow into his role of being a top in the relationship.
Either way, these two make such a good pairing. I simply love them together.
