over 2 years ago2000 would be able to run on it fairly, the Indexing Service is an optional addon (though installed by default unless you unselect it during setup), and without that on it wont eat through the drive in no time

over 2 years agoI think the issue with SSDs is that only 7 has support for the TRIM command. Without support for that feature in the OS, an SSD's write speed goes straight to hell.
