"Princess Kaguya Houraisan of Eientei was found today in the bamboo forest, high amongst the stalks, cocooned in medical bandages and impaled with several syringes that held lethal liquids. Forest Local Fujiwara no Mokou and Eientei Physician Eirin Yagakoro were both questioned about the immortal's predicament, to which both replied that her condition was 'satisfactory'. The resident Eientei rabbits declined to comment."
Alternately: Kaguya has allowed her self-prservation instincts to atrophy. I belive that she is about to undergo Pavlovian "reconditioning" at Eirin's hands.

No, why would she do that? Being able to recover from anything makes for so many more...interesting...punishments. Let me introduce you to a fellow by the name of prometheus...

That's assuming there is a way.
Given that the elixir is supposed to grant true immortality, there probably isn't a way to reverse it. If it's reversible then it's not true immortality.

The way i see it, if it was granted by something, then there be some way to undo it in the event that someone who must not become immortal managed to get said artifact/potion/phlebotinum. It just common sense.

Common sense in Touhou? Yeah, about that...you might wanna speak to Sanae.

There are things that are permanent/irreversable even in the real world. Just because there's a way to do something, doesn't mean there's a way to undo it. The Hourai Elixir happens to be one of those things.

Or can we just leave thing as is?
well this discussion reminds me an episode from justice league unlimited. -Kids' Stuff- Because Mordred has eternal life, he's centuries old. But his mom placed eternal youth on him to keep him young. But since he broke the spell to be older, the years of ageing that was put off, caught up to him making him an old man.

1 year agoThere ARE things worse than death, however brief a reprieve that would be for Kaguya, and I'm sure Eirin is more than familiar with many of them.
