they always forget to factor in usable ammo amounts for mechs with guns like this. if you look at him he has maybe 10 or 12 shots...

Naah, looks like he's got box magazines stored on the thighs and hips. Even if he went empty with three shots, he still has 24 total.

I find the ammo-clip impractical too. It's a way too small. So small the mecha even may have problems reloading with that.
Anyways it's great enough to be saved to my comp.

What's making us assume that it's a solid-ammo canon? If it were a directed-energy weapon, the physical size of the clip wouldn't matter anything like as much; with a high enough charge capacity in those packs, he could be carrying upwards of a hundred shots or some odd.

Or he could be teleporting them in from hyperspace. Who cares? It's a kickass mech. That's ALL you need to know.

Agreed, very similar at least. Still, they should make more fanart of FM mechas, at least for FM1's Raven =|
