that is so damn adorable.... in its own crazy way. Judging by the damage both sustained, it seems to me as if Mokou had tired Flan down. Maybe she didn't want to hurt her too much? Could somebody give it a try to the translation? Btw, WHY was Flandre visiting Mokou's home and then said hi with a "Kyu"

I like to think she was looking for Marisa's but since she doesn't know where she lives... Also, fuck Flan, one goes to greet her and she blows your head up? Flan doesn't deserves forgiveness, she deserves some classes in manners and someone blowing her up for a change.

Yeah, since Marisa's name is shown on Flan's bubble in the previous page.

Immortality definition: 1. not mortal 2. not liable or subject to death 3. not liable to perish or decay; imperishable; everlasting. 4. perpetual; lasting; constant: an immortal enemy.
And just to throw in some quotes from ZUN, Mokou's script shows her power as "inability to die". Just because Flandre can destroy anything, doesn't mean Mokou is liable to death to it. She can, and will, reincarnate from absolutely nothing. And one more thing. If there's a way to put a permanent end to it in any way, it wouldn't be called "immortal", but instead "mortal". Don't try to fight the impossible.

This is Touhou, where immortality is used to its fullest extent. After all, if there is a way to kill it, then it isn't really immortal. All characters assumed immortal in Tsukihime but died were, in fact, mortal, because they could die.

Here in Touhou, even the black barrel is null.
This method of killing is apparently absolute; it bypasses even reincarnation, and can even be used against a collective entity. The only entity immune is Tatari, since that entity does not exist. As it erases existence, then by extension, the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception can also destroy non-physical things, such as spells, thoughts, magecraft, and even nature.
Its like deleting from the history from that point foward Shiki doesnt "kill" he destroys the your very existence
Keine can kill mokou/kaguya A) Destroy/modify the history where they are born or when they drink the elixir
Probably yukari too since she destroys your boundaries

You're overlooking a very important fact. Shiki's Mystic eyes allow him to see the EVENTUAL FATED destruction of an object or entity expressed as small points on the object or entity's body and as thin glowing reddish black lines that extend from those points and crawl over the body. See, Mokou doesn't have any fated destruction, because the Hourai Elixir erased that very entity. She may get hurt, allowing him to see the "lines", but because death isn't a part of her existence, the "dots" Shiki is supposed to see, aren't there.
It makes sense, too, because Yuyuko has a similar ability. And yet she was overwhelmed when she saw Mokou, searching desperately for the death in her. I would imagine Shiki would have a similar reaction. Hourai Elixir's very works is based off of non-existence. See, the very concept of not existing is wiped away. When you try to kill someone by erasing their existence, they'll reincarnate anyway because it's that very entity that's no longer a part of them. And to top that off, the consumer of the Hourai Elixir is also free from every bound, and every entity. It's confirmed, that even Yukari said Mokou is invincible. Trying to manipulate immortality, the true state of immortality Mokou and Kaguya possess, is like trying to find a beginning or end to an eternity. It doesn't exist. Quite simply, they are independant of the concept of reality itself. So no amount of reality-warping would change them. And as for Keine, time is also one of those bounds. Kaguya is an eternal being, and (officially confirmed) "eternity refers to a world with no history;" Keine has no history to manipulate. And Mokou freed herself from the bounds of time the instant she drank the Hourai Elixir. It's confirmed, anyone who drinks the Hourai Elixir can never die no matter what. And here's fact; it's not immortal if there's an end to it. It's not invincible if there's a weakness to it. Through and all means, Fujiwara no Mokou and Kaguya Houraisan are, to the fullest extent, absolutely incapable of dying by any means.

I think it works going by the "tag what you see" guideline. Flan is in her pure homicidal mindset until the timeskip in this entry; if she'd started out as she ends up, it'd be a different story.
isn't the whole charisma break thing pretty much a Remilia joke? more specificly coming a originating from jokes about her crouch? Kinda like how all jokes about someone getting "caved" involve Keine

Centered around Remi, sure, but IMO it would cut down on the fun of the pool if it was restricted only to her.
I find that the charisma break pool is pretty vague and generally overused anyway.
I mean, maybe the original intent was kind of neat, but now it seems to exist to be a useless pool to stick on every single picture of Flan that has an expression OTHER than "Just as planned", and now is including so many other characters similiarly, and now even being applied to even looser definitions like this one..
found the solution existance and non existance an equvelant to death throw mokow in an event horizon and her time will be etternaly slowed down pulled there 4 ever and dying once per milisecond PROBLEM SOLVED !!!

but she still can't die. As many times as she's blown to oblivion, she'll still be resurrected each and every time.
That'd be very painful, though. Why do such a thing?
The characters for Mokou's name can mean "Scarlet (younger) Sister", but it can also mean "Paint me red". According to ZUN, her name has no connection to Flandre.

But hey, What's the point of a fearful immortal being if he/she is incapacitated PERMANENTLY? After cutting the lines of death, any kind of regenerative ability or restoration are useless because the lines were cut. But hey, Mokou's actually a nice person so.... Please stop the minority speeches please? (Said to everyone)

It does not work that way. I see you didn't read any of it. First off, Mystic Eyes of Death Perception only work on those who have an eventually fated destruction. This means dots and lines exist only in people who will somehow die eventually. This is not the case for those who taste the Hourai. Moreover, even if lines did exist, it's not regenerative based, i.e. a certain Buu? It's a complete resurrection. Reborn from ashes, like a Phoenix. A Phoenix flourishes in its own destruction. It thrives on its own death. You don't kill Mokou. You make her stronger. Immortals are feared for a reason.

The hell is wrong with you? Flandre's been locked up in the basement for 495 years. She wasn't taught this "manners" of which you grandly speak of. Go read up on her profile before commenting on her manners.

Black holes evaporate over time, so it'd be no different from just leaving her alone - she'll float through a flat, empty universe at the end. Hmm... with time dilation, I think this process would happen instantly from her perspective?

I wonder how dying 8.41623216*10 to the 19 power would effect your psyche, and whether or not she would start getting progressively stronger from it? *Becomes able to resist the gravitational pull of a black hole, enters god mode.

There is no regenerative or restoration ability to make useless because it's her disability of being non-existant that restores her. Cutting her lines would be pointless even if they did exist.
by going with that theory, it means that Hourai elixir is a *thing* that remove the existence of death from entity. or in other words, it literally distort time and space to stop Mokou and Kaguya from ending up dead, for it remove past and future so present can exist. Which means by destroying an immortal to pieces, the moment "immortal that was destroyed(future)" was immediately replace by the moment "mortal become immortal(present)". Though memories was retain.
However IS possible to kill those immortal... If something like Hourai elixir can exist, so can a *thing* that do the reverse, putting existence of death back into an entity
RikoShigeru said: ... However IS possible to kill those immortal... If something like Hourai elixir can exist, so can a *thing* that do the reverse, putting existence of death back into an entity
That's not necessarily true. The Hourai Elixir is permanent, and to change something implies that it has a future to change, which you admit that they lack. There is no past or future for the Hourai beings, only the present. And even if there is a way to turn something from one form to another doesn't mean that there's necessarily a way back. Think of a black hole where not even light can escape (since light is mathematically proven to be the fastest thing that can exist in any frame of reference, this rules out just about anything that can possibly exist). Besides, the whole point of an immortality elixir is that there is no way of going back. It wouldn't be much of an immortality elixir otherwise. Think about it; if someone was made invincible, they'd be immune to the very thing that'd make them un-invincible again. Meaning that that they can either be truly invincible or otherwise they are not. The same case here. We're not talking about your run-of-the-mill Greek-god immortals here. We're talking about beings that absolutely, under any circumstance, cannot, and will not be allowed to ever die. You simply cannot kill something like that. It's like reaching for water at the bottom of an infinite well. It simply doesn't exist.

Personally I would say that you underestimate the disgusting ability of writers to come up with abilities that do the impossible, in any case I would like to clarify that something or someone being named in their original work as "immortal" is pretty insignificant if you think about it, let's say there is a guy who can regenerate from just his soul, and then you put him in our world. Clearly he would seem immortal to us because we have no means to destroy a soul, but put him in a world where there are characters that manipulate the soul, including being able to destroy it and the guy is going to get screwed. It is only a matter of searching in the great sea of fiction to realize that any character who claims to be immortal is, in fact, not immortal at all, atleast no completly.
