I always advocate ripping off the tip and sticking it into the thick end. Anything to keep the stuff inside the cornet. The damn stuff still ends up coming out of the end if you're not careful ~_~

...Well, I suppose starting at the thicker end would also achieve that, but seriously, who wants to eat the boring thin end last?
