Can we go on the record of stating that Ranma 1/2 has, officially, a cast that makes Excel Excel look like a master of quantum mechanics?

I feel compelled to state that nowhere in the manga does it say that Boy=Brown Hair, Girl=Red; it's exclusive to the anime.

Being a black & white manga, it'd be kinda hard to tell. Altough he did have red hair on some of the covers.

In the manga, Ranma always had black hair in both forms. Somewhere during the series, Rumiko decided to follow the anime look and give his female form red hair on some of the covers, I guess.
