...And so,
The grass is always greener, huh.
...I don't like this one bit.
How could you understand how I feel!
I don't like this.
And Mokou, you're the same as me.
Only a Hourai can accompany another Hourai.
In this case, Hourai meaning one who has consumed the Hourai elixir.
End
There are boundaries that I shouldn't cross...
you grieve again.
...Hmm.
that's just because of what I am.
And yet...
Shut up!
I thought you'd have been used to this by now.
Well,

over 3 years agoWell, yes it's not post #208306.
Since he/she drew post #336298 it's just natural.

over 3 years agothe art of this one is beautiful. I would like to know what they are talking about too. Kaguya comforting Mokou has its special charm

over 3 years agoIf Alice died of old age, pretty much everybody else will be dead at this point. Alice was the youngest youkai besides Patchy, no?

over 3 years agoMostly translated, but that one line's meaning escapes me. I think it means something to the effect of 'And yet, there is no place for us'. Also, I think 'Houraijin' refers to someone who has consumed the Hourai elixir, rather than one of the Hourai family.

それ故に立てない場所もある、というのがね
I can't really work with it either. It seems to me like "and that's why she always ends up here, unable to stand up", but I'm really unsure about it.
Correct about 'Houraijin' meaning a Hourai immortal; Kaguya's (assumed?) family name is Houraisan, not just Hourai.
Akari
over 3 years agoI think I figured it out. It means 'And yet, there are places we do not belong/should not be' - which refers to their neverending feud, so despite Kaguya wanting to comfort her, the family feud prevents her from doing so. I can't think of a good way to indicate this in a single line. Any ideas?
redsheet
over 3 years agoNope. It resembles Alice more than Hourai, the latter of which doesn't really have an established appearance.

over 2 years agoOh, late for the argument.
I think Kaguya always wanted Mokou to feel sad for her heavy situation like death (or feel her as priceless person), but it'll never be realized for her immortality.
So she thought "only Hourai can live with Hourai forever. But, at the same time, it means I can never get the position of a dead person who she really mourn for."(this position is the 立てない場所 she mentioned) and "I don't like it."
But unfortunately I have no idea of the translation for the balloon.
