I just want to know if Mokou is the father or the mother of that child. I say she's the father.

She's the father most of the time, but she's the mother when the moon is full.

My question is, do the effects of the Hourai Elixir pass on to one's children? In other words, is the kid immortal too?

Then she'd be a newborn infant forever, since the Elixir locks you at the age you were when you took it. Standard immortality thing. It wouldn't do to be immortal, but still age.

I would think that if the Elixir does pass on, i think it would be like a "has to kick in" theory.
Like once she reaches young adult, then the Elixir would kick in around that time and trapping her like in her early 20's forever.
At least, that is how i wish to vision it.

The elixir is concentrated in the person's liver. Unless the child imbibes some of the liver I doubt the effects will be passes on to the child.
