Posted under General

Alias: "ps1" to "playstation_1"/"playstation_one" (not in use)
Alias: "ps2" to "playstation_2"
Alias: "ps3" to "playstation_3"
Alias: "psp" to "playstation_portable"
Implication: "playstation_[whatever]" to "playstation"

Implication: "xbox_360" to "xbox"
(poss. Alias: "xbox360" to "xbox_360")

Alias: "nes" to "famicom"/"family_computer"
Alias: "snes" to "super_famicom"
Alias: "super_nintendo" to "super_famicom"
Alias: "sfc" to "super_famicom"
(these have some trouble: 2/3 of the "nes" pics involve actual NES stuff)
(poss. Alias: "gamecube" to "nintendo_gamecube")
(poss. Impl.: "nintendo_ds_lite" to "nintendo_ds")
(poss. Impl.: "nintendo_dsi" to "nintendo_ds")

I'm not too versed in the other companies' givings, but that's about all I can scramble right now. The Game Boy stuff has already been Alis'd and Imp'd all up, so HAVE AT THESE!

Why the long tags? I would reverse all of these.

I don't like the xbox <-> xbox_360 implication. They are two different consoles and you'd just be polluting the one tag with the other. Although you could search for xbox -xbox_360 to get the same result in case it is applied, I just don't think the implication is a good idea.

The NDS ones make a bit more sense since you would probably want to find all the types NDS when you search for nintendo_ds. With xbox, I don't think that's the case, you'd be looking for the xbox console.

I'm not sure about the NES -> famicom idea either since they're not the same thing.
