Tag suggestion : In_frame / Full_body_image?

I think it may be a good idea to start a tag for images where the entire of a character is shown, and the character is not cut off at the edges. Similar to the Bust tag idea, but with the entire character in frame.

Its a search I would certainly do, anyway.

Coincidentally, I was thinking the same thing these days.

But I could not come up with a good name for that concept.

I'm not a big fan of in_frame; but full_body looks better.

• cowboy shot (Face through thighs)

Are you thinking it would be restricted to solo images that focus specifically on the character? We just need to know where to draw the line because I'm assuming post #1151575 isn't what you had in mind.

Yes, jhx. (in my book, at least)

The new tag would be for posts like post #1149571, where most of the image is occupied by a full body.

Tagging ANY depiction of a full body indiscriminately, including post #1151575, would cause endless clutter. Probably most images in Danbooru would have to be tagged, rendering the tag useless.

However, post #978871 is NOT solo but most of the image is nicely occupied by (two) full bodies, nonetheless. I would consider tagging it with the new tag, if at all possible. post #1140415, where the same character appears twice, with her full body once again occupying most of the image, would be taggable, too.

Compare:

• post #1148272 and post #1003806 are portrait plus solo
• post #1148723 and post #1129370 are portrait minus solo

• Judging from solo (300,000+ posts, but there are other numbers to consider), only a relatively tiny portion of full_body would have posts tagged dakimakura, so I don't think that would be a problem.

• Yes, most (but not all) dakimakura images would be taggable with full_body. Naturally, most dakimakura images are also taggable 1girl, blush, lying, looking_at_viewer...

Oh wow, its interesting to see this tag has actually developed quite a bit. Good to see support for it.

Added a few myself today from my faves list that I think suit well.

A few in the tag at the mo have obstructions or a relatively large ammount of cut off outside the frame (mainly of hair or some other appendage such as a wing) which I'm not too sure if they are particularly applicable, but quite pleasing to see something like this develop from just an idea.

Yeah, it's good to see that that tag is doing well.

I would not mind tagging a post full_body as long as the full body is in the image. These can optionally appear in the image, completely or partially, as appendages/exceptions:

• hair, horns, tail, wings, and something else I could have forgotten (but toes and fingers would NOT be exceptions, in my book)

While this tag is still reasonably fresh, I'd like to discourage tagging chibi characters with full_body, unless they have properly drawn hands and feet/footwear. Chibi can easily defeat the purpose of the tag, as majority of them is "drawn in full".
