Is there a reason we alias doctor_zexxck to dr.zexxck instead of the other way around? The artist uses the full name on pixiv, patreon and deviantart. The only uses of drzexxck are a hentai foundry account that hasn't been logged into since 2013 and a tumblr that never had any posts on it.

Can do it myself now. Should I remove my active 50 > artist bulk updates or just let them float?

Deleting 50(!?) requests seems a bit tiresome. I'd let float :3.

Actually I mean they affect less than 50 posts (tag has less than 50) I saw somewhere it's a good rule of thumb to make a request always for above 50.

Well, if it's only a few requests, you couls reject them and add them manually.
But since artists are a pain to handle manually, I'd let it be and let in handle an admin :3.

mlog is not an alternative name but rather the name of their blog which seems to be confirmed by the fact the mlog name was added at the same time as that blog was added to the URL list. The blog is the only listed URL where 'mlog' appears.

The word blog comes from the phrase "web log" and so it should be inferred mlog is derived the same way and is instead a shortening of 'mujiha log'.

Edit: It may however be appropriate to put hajimu5362 in parenthesis but mujiha looks so much cleaner and preferable in my eyes.

Edit II: I realized hajimu must just be an anagram of mujiha!

ale-halexxx -> ale_(ale_halexxx)
Reason: both artist have the same information and links in the artist/wiki. ale_(ale_halexxx) has some extra information.

Note: I don't know if this is the right way to request this. What should happen is that both artist are merged into one, if it should be done in another way, please correct me.

The former is the new account for the latter. Proof can be found on the former's Twitter.

alias [cake_(nico_seiga)] -> [cake_(nicoseiga)]

furthermore, [cake_(nico_seiga)] has no posts, so maybe worth a deletion instead of an alias.

@jmm, simply posting that as text makes it likely to get overlooked by admins. In the future, go to Alias page and select either "request alias" or "request bulk update" from the subnavbar. That makes request visible at admin dashboard, and we'll be sure to check it later. Don't forget to specify topic id in the corresponding field if you're adding request to existing topic.

Thanks. Although I've been an user here for long, I'm still trying to discover how you all do these things. I see this thread is more for discussing about if/how to alias artists than to propose simple aliases. Will follow your advice.
