Tag Questions: *boy/girl & solo tags

Posted under General

Two questions:
1. The wiki says "Any picture containing only one copyrighted or original character.".
Does this only apply to human characters?
Meaning for example, would it be ok to use the solo tag here:post #193842, since it has only one human character (Even though Pikachu is a copyrighted character).

2. Can the *girl/boy tags be used for pokemon/animals if the gender is known/shown?
Example1: post #999862 Nidoking is always male.
Example2: post #565408 Team Rockets Meowth is male.
Example3: post #381385 Gardevoir has breasts in the picture, meaning is female.

I don't see any good reason why solo wouldn't apply to any copyrighted character. The most important thing to consider is that if the focus is on mainly one character, anyway, not whether someone or something technically counts or not. post #193842 is clearly about two characters.

Girl/boy tags however should definitely require humans or very humanoid characters. Most pokemon should never qualify for the tag unless they're a personification. I could see something like Gardevoir getting the tag if they were drawn human enough, though, it'd have to be a case by case basis.
