Tag Implication: panty_thief -> clothing_thief

Implicating panty_thief -> clothing_thief.

Reason: Subset of clothing.

I disagree. If anything panties are subset of underwear, not clothing.

I didn't know we have a panty_thief tag so I always used clothing_thief. +1

Should we implicate every single piece of garment to clothes then? And what for?
Plus, panty (underwear) theft stinks of erojijiness, while clothing theft sounds (erotically) neutral.

There was a discussion about clothing vs underwear once before but I can't find the thread.

I am fairly certain that however that the result of the discussion was that clothing is what you wear on the outside, underwear on the inside and underwear is not something that is supposed to be seen while clothing is something that is supposed to be seen. Clothing and underwear are thereby completely separate concepts tag-wise.

It'd be better to have panty_thief aliased to underwear_thief, so that it could include bra thieves as well. It'd also be able to cover things like a guy's underwear being stolen as well.

While it is true that underwear is a form of clothing (we do count it as such for tagging nude), I believe the general idea of what is supposed to be depicted is typically different, and thus shouldn't be mixed together. There can be similarities, such as with swimsuits, but overall swiping of someone's outer clothing is different from swiping their underwear.

Well, the main reason I search/subscribe to the clothing_thief tag is because I enjoy images of people stealing any form of clothing off of someone else's body.

The only reason I don't support the implication is because of post #862455. That said, if we want to have the (currently wiki-less) clothing_thief tag be for images like that as well (underwear or no), then I support the implication.

I also support the implication, mainly because this is a theme that doesn't get too much posts despite being quite funny, it's impractical to separate them. I agree that underwear is different from clothing, but in this specific case that distinction is not worth it.

I can't find it either. What I find instead are a few implications from half a year ago:

Anyway, I populated the panty_thief tag (previously 18 posts) with tags currently tagged clothing_thief, tagged any other underwear (fundoshi, bloomers, bra) underwear_thief (to which panty_thief may be aliased (NWF Renim's suggestion)), made swimsuit_thief for the just as popular subset of stealing clothes.

*thief

clothing_thief will be the umbrella (aka:general) tag for all clothing theft.

Also, I added towel_thief to all of the posts in the clothing_thief -panty_thief towel search.
