Regarding a pool containing spoilers (Puella Magi Modoka Magica spoiler warning)

Posted under General

For the last two days or so, I've wanted to make a pool containing the influx of images parodying or otherwise referencing Mami's death scene at the end of episode 3. (tentative pool name: "Madoka - CHOMP!") However, due to the nature of the content (ie, containing spoilers) I'm not certain if such a pool would against the rules or not (I've been unable to find anything in the forums or ToS regarding the matter).

Just wanted to get clarification before I do anything. Is such a pool permissible? And if so, should a spoiler warning be added to the pool name?

Thanks for your time.

Seems like an okay pool to me, but there would definitely need to be a spoiler warning in the pool title (or you could just name it "Madoka - That Scene from Episode 3" or thereabouts, which is a self-contained spoiler warning while making the purpose of the pool clear to those in the know).

If there's anyone on Danbooru who's actually managed to avoid Madoka spoilers this far into the season, I'd like to shake their hand.

If you mean you want to pool up the scene of Mami's body hanging, her head out of frame then don't. It's fully visual and recognizable, has sort of become a meme like just_as_planned face, thus taggable. I've been wanting to tag that scene with something but haven't found any good name yet.

Actually, the idea was for the pool to be quite a bit more broad then that, since there's only half a dozen images or so that mimic that specific pose. The idea was to include any image that directly references the event itself, which would have more general (hence subjective) criteria.

I'd offer examples, but the general consensus seems to be leaning towards "no", so I'll let this idea go for now.

Well okay, here are some examples. I'll leave out the images depicting the specific "pose" that we seem to agree is taggable, though they would be included as well.

(my apologies for the sloppy links, I don't know how to link so that it just shows up as "Post ####)

Hopefully this gives some sort of idea of what I'm going for here.

Edit: Thanks to the poster below me for clarifying how to link.

That scene is pretty much a meme now, so +1 for the mami_mogu_mogu tag.

I never seen a huge number of casualties (banned users) just because of spoiling Puella Magi

It's an ongoing show with lots of spoiler sensitive development and huge amounts of fanart. This was totally bound to happen.

I actually decided to watch it now BEFORE Danbooru spoils it completely for me (and after I knew the first three episodes inside out without watching a single second). Too bad, thanks to certain manga-reading assholes I'm now familiar with just about the whole plot.

Alternately, adopting the most common Pixiv tag would make it mou nanimo kowakunai.

Neither of those are intuitive though. I'd prefer something that's at a glance at least slightly descriptive, like mami chomp. Maybe head chomp except I suppose not all posts are necessarily referencing the actual means of her demise.

PS, there's 'spoiler warning' in the thread title so y'all can stop blacking out everything.

Er, it's anime original. There is no pre-existing manga, or novel, or game, or drama CD. The manga coming out are also original stories. Nor have there been any plot leaks from the production team as to what will happen. Anything that has not explicitly happened on screen each Thursday (or Friday morning in Japan presumably) is 100% fan speculation.

Anyway, if we're going to make a tag or pool like this I agree the name needs to be obscure. If it's not, I'd have to object to this idea. "mami_dies" would be intuitive too but it'd also be stupid.

The rune-based tag seems obscure enough.
Mami chomp, not so much.

You can't even imagine how glad am I to hear this.

Alright I'm just done rushing the series, and now I'm asking how come some posts under Mami_mogu_mogu don't have the spoilers tag (post #859947, post #853699, post #851234, post #835551 - added on them for now).

And I support mou_nanimo_kowakunai as name.

I ran into various forms of "QB is an asshole" that made me expect much worse than I saw but I somehow managed to avoid the one about Mami ("she's got the most fanarts, must be the actual main charact*chomp* wat"), so I guess I'm still pretty fortunate.
