Tag discussion: faceplant, face_down

Posted under General

It would seem to me that face_down would be a tag for any situation a person's face is down against a horizontal surface. Faceplant's definition stipulates that falling must have taken place.

For post #881030, I think something like face_down drowning afloat might be appropriate, if a specific tag doesn't exist.

Other details perhaps relevant to this thread: prone, which is body face down but typically with the face of the head raised, so I would think face_down typically not apply. An alias the other way may be appropriate though depending on how we define it.

Another thing: what about situations like post #105114? Sitting with one's face down at a desk would fit "face down" for me at least as far as language goes, though it doesn't match any of the face_down posts currently matched, and would contradict any relationship with prone. Should these apply to face_down too, or would getting their own tag make sense?
