I wasn't trying to be enigmatic. There's posts like post #480561 and post #482557 that don't show anything about Tanabata beyond the tanzaku that makes me hesitant about an implication. On the other hand, I could also see people wanting such images when searching for tanabata as well.
Oh, and here is a Wikipedia link for Tanabata to educate yourself with. The Internet is a great tool for information.
I don't think tanzaku are specific to Tanabata, so I'd prefer not to link them, even if that's generally the context in which artists will draw them. The definition is just listed as:
短冊 [たんざく] - (n) small vertical card for poem
Kadomatsu is defined as:
門松 [かどまつ] - (n) New Year's pine decoration
Wiki says "Designs for kadomatsu vary depending on region but are typically made of pine, bamboo, and sometimes ume tree sprigs which represent longevity, prosperity and steadfastness, respectively."
I can't discern from this that bamboo is 100% required, so I'll hold off on that.
