Autocompletion failure

Posted under General

Lately today the autocompletion script hasn't been working properly. It doesn't respond to anything when I begin typing something in the tag area, but it will come on when I backspace on a word. Has anyone else having problem with it or is it just me?

Updated

Those were the symptoms I've originally seen when trying to run in on Chrom(e/ium) 10.x, and not 8.x it was tested on. But zatchii has fixed that since. Are you sure you haven't installed an old version? Or maybe you had an old version installed, and then Chrome updated (10.x has just been released officially as Chrome, I think, as opposed to Chromium)?

Chrome is generally rigged to update itself automatically via a system service called Google Update. And it sounds to me like it's working as-intended: Keeping your browser up-to-date, without the user having to actively intervene (or care) in order to do so.

And as far as Chrome's releases, yeah, its major version number is bumped-up fairly regularly. The browser's been out for about 2.5 years, and (the stable version) is "already" at version 10. You can find more info about Chrome's releases here.

Well it seems that after uninstall and reinstall the program back onto Chrome, auto-completion is now working properly again.
