I don't think even an implication would be good. They're different games with different settings. The fact that they use the same gameplay mechanics is not enough of a reason IMHO -- what is gained by this implication? What's the advantage of making it impossible to search for osu!_tatakae!_ouendan on its own without excluding EBA first?

Would most people want them to be combined into one search term when searching? I can't think of any common situation where someone would want that.

If I search for both at once, using elite_beat_agents osu!_tatakae!_ouendan, my feeling is that only images that genuinely combine the two settings should come up. What would be the purpose to making that combination of tags meaningless by adding an implication?

Just make a See Also note in the wiki that they're related, but not the same game series.

To be fair, there are some minor cameos/throwbacks between EBA and Ouendan. However, it's definitely not enough to matter so I agree with your statement anyway.

Yeah let's just tag manually as needed rather than alias or implicate.
