Tag discussion: drooling

Posted under General

"drool" has been aliased to saliva and for the most part this tag seems kind of redundant and at least would need to be implicated. Wiki notes, though, "Sometimes drawn as an indent in the lower lipline." I guess something like post #566966 is what is meant there (could something like that still be tagged with saliva?) Also, if we were being consistent, since drool was aliased to saliva, then drooling would be need to be salivating?

Drooling and saliva are not quite the same thing. Drooling might be defined as salivating from the mouth involuntarily, as when hungry (for food) or while sleeping. I wouldn't apply drooling to saliva coming off a kiss or other voluntary oral act. Drooling due to sex (including sexual desire and fucked_silly-type instances) is murky, and if we include it I'd say we're better off aliasing due to those posts having the bulk of saliva already.

http://danbooru.donmai.us/post?tags=saliva+~food+~sleepy+~sleeping pulls up 18 pages, which is decently hefty considering it takes four tags to search for it. Using drooling for this would not be a waste. Saliva currently has 284. Also, assuming ideal tagging conditions, saliva -drooling would give whatever's left over, which I assume is mostly sex images (kissing, lusting after, etc. included).

I'm only bothered by whether we'd like to include "lusting after" images like post #585213 under the hunger clause, since they're so similar to the food ones... Perhaps noting in the wiki that "lusting after" images are fine as long as there's no physical sexual stimulation would make it work.
