You can now search using the parent:none tag to find posts that have no parents. Like with other metatags, you can combine this with stuff like translation_request to filter out child posts.
The edit mode for post/index no longer relies on a JavaScript popup, allowing you to visit other pages if necessary.
I've also updated the help documentation a bit. If any of it is out of date, please let me know.

Fifty thousand thumbs up. It was always a pain to edit a picture with a lot of tags, and not be able to see more than a few at a time in the little popup.
Most appreciated.
In fact, can you go one step further and make the box for tags within the image page itself bigger? That would be great.
