I have a question

How does everybody go about finding all this pictures? Does everybody draw them themselves? Or do they find them on the internet?

I mostly upload stuff by artists I know personally, and stuff they recommend that isn't on here already. I don't know how other people do it.

Thank you, that clears up a lot. That is one of the biggest questions I had on here. Thanks for your help.

I find an artist and then follow them over time, rather than check aggregation sites. That way I get things from them that aren't included in drag's categories, but that doesn't stop me from getting beat to half a dozen images a day. Usually the best ones, of course =P

I currently have about 215 artists I check regularly.

Little known fact: google images is really good at finding random artist sites. There are sure-fire queries like 絵 or ギャラリー, but usually pretty much any query in Japanese will yield some anime pics, which often lead to full galleries. I just don't have the time to loot and upload all of them.
