It's been about a month since the test janitor trial period started so I went ahead and promoted/demoted them. If you were demoted, it was either because you were relatively inactive during the period, or your approvals were poor. You'll have a negative user record but like all negative user records this doesn't really affect your daily usage.
I've also added new test janitors based on the messages I received awhile ago.
