What just happened? Suddenly there are a ton of blank, active artists with names like さにゃ and も. Find Artist wasn't returning this junk before... Or maybe they were already active and I got mixed up somehow?
Either way, could someone with the power to do so just go through the first four pages of the artist index and delete these pages altogether (as opposed to just deactivating them)?
Artist #41757 is a pretty funny one--no name at all, and a huge number of "members"...

I checked the history, and I don't think it was vandalism. The last edits are all old--one of them was even by me--so I figured it had to do with the old artist alias system. But why Find Artist is suddenly returning these entries (for pixiv.net/img/ images that don't get any correct matches) is a mystery... Ah well.

Yeah, I already have a list of 200+ deactivated artists for just such an occasion.
It's a bug. [changeset 2387] broke Find Artist. The /artist/index API was slightly changed (the 'url' parameter was removed) but the javascript that handles Find Artist (RelatedTags.find_artist) wasn't updated accordingly.
