uploads

first i will start it off the usual way by saying sorry for my bad spelling and grammer. another thing i would like to point out one more thing, im not asking for some one to invite me.

i want to just point this out, even if it has been ointed out befor. i will upload any immage i can, and basicy they are all explisit. i dont upload offen due to a upload cap by my isp. however when i upload them i cant see them. it would be nice if there was a way that you could see any post you make no matter what the content may be.

now i would upload clean immages, however most of them have already been either posted already or things that have been posted on 4chan or other immage boards, meaning that they are most likely alreadv been posted. and to top it off the stuff that i cant upload make it allot harder too. and once more i dont feal like looking all over the internet to find immages just to save and upload here, that just isnt how i am. i mean if i find an immage i will upload it but i dont intend to look for immages specificly to upload.

after uploading a explicit picture on a non-privileged account you should be able to see what you have posted *once*. afterwards you wont be able to see it again unless you remember the post number of the picture you uploaded.

yea, i know, but i want to see the comments or to be able to update the tag if i realise i missed something, and i want to be able to see it in my profile. im saying this on behalf of everyone who isnt invited in yet, that we should be able to see, edit, and update posts we make ourselve reguardless of what its contents are.

i just found something intresting, there are some posts that have things that arnt edited properly, such as i saw an immage where there was a white line down the middle, and anoter one wehre in the corner of it had one of those site addresses, not and artist site but one that hosted immages.

i would like to know if i can edit them beter and resubmit them? i use to be prety good at this a while ago. probably the biggest thing i did was this immage of the 2 nuns, and something like what would jesus say was put on the immage, no one for months could find a source for it without the words on it, so i edited the words out. most people who say it thanked me, well besides the person who complained that it wasnt the origional.

found it, it was the jesus probably dosent approve of this nun picture, the one where the nun is on the other nun with the cross in her mouth. i believe that it took me something like 4 hours to do, i had to compleatly re construct the lower forth of the picture. kind of fun though

Please don't edit pictures found here and then reupload them. If it's not an original from the artist, we can do with a site logo or a scan artifact and don't need your "help" in getting a lower-quality version that also won't help in preventing duplicate detection and will soon spread to other imageboard sites, corruptig the internet with inferior non-identical copies of the same image and conflating the duplicate problem.

In other words. Provide good new content, not altered existing content; that's the purview of comments, tags, and notes.

I'm not sure about this poster's intents (or posts), but I do agree that it'd make sense for us noobs to be able to see our own uploads, regardless of rating. I am actually not here for the explicit content at all but for reference and to find new artists, but I DO have some material that I would call questionable, that I want to upload.

It also would really help for situations where I forget to change the tag to "safe". It hasn't happened yet but I'm pretty sure it will. :D

I actually can (and do) keep an eye on those questionables with the whole "directlink" thing, but it's not really ideal, and I don't see any reason not to allow this (bandwidth or exclusiveness-wise).

Well, other than that it'd be something new to code and it's not a huge issue or anything, there's probably more important stuff to deal with. :D

You can (at least for now). You don't need a privileged account to see an explicit post. You need one to search for it. If this isn't the case, then it's a bug.

You should also be able to edit the rating now (even if it's pending or explicit).

If you're particularly good at cleaning up scans with folds and creases and dirt and such on them, you should probably check out moe.imouto.org. Various scans, primarily from artbooks and anime magazines, are posted there.

Often they're uploaded as raw scan in a somewhat damaged or just unoptimized state, and have a 'fixme' tag. Some kind souls then often go through, fix them up nicely, and resubmit the scan with a 'fixed' tag.

I think your skills, if you are actually good at this, would be better used there, as that site gets far more large scans like that than Danbooru does. Just editing random fanart images here, would generally be frowned upon.
