Reverse aliases

china_dress <- -> chinese_dress
chinadress -> china_dress or chinese_dress
qipao -> china_dress or chinese_dress
cheongsam -> china_dress or chinese_dress

Current alias points to chinadress.

I would really prefer qipao but that's probably just me.

Isn't qipao the older, more traditional loose-fitting version? Most of the chinadress pics show a cheongsam instead, which has a tigher fit.

But since we lump them all under one tag already (and I don't think anyone would volunteer to disentangle that), the tag should remain something generic like chinadress, chinese_dress or chinese_clothes to go along with japanese_clothes.

I looked it up in a bunch of places and they all list cheongsam along with qipao, there is no discernible difference between the two terms as far as I can tell.

There actually is a chinese_clothes tag in use. We should probably implicate the relevant tags to it.

The wiki for chinese_clothes lists hanfu, tangzhuang, qipao, and changpao. All of those should be implicated to it, aside from quipao which is aliased currently to chinadress. Whichever version of that we chose to use should be implicated as well.

As for the tag to use, china always seems to be what I hear rather than chinese, so china_dress I guess.

It always has been china_dress here and I actually have no idea why since it isn't very grammatical. I don't believe I ever saw that particular term used elsewhere before here.

"Chinese Dress" would be better, "Cheongsam" would be best.

Well, cheongsam is a specific kind of chinese dress. So using that for all of them would be just wrong, even though 90% of chinadress images show a cheongsam.

While we're at it, how on earth is post #580804 anything like china_dress? It seems to me to be the Chinese counterpart of tagging Touhou outfits as wafuku.

Compare it to post #340389 which is the same outfit. From that vantage, it does look like a short china_dress with either some modifications or a skirt/slip underneath.
