Tooltip userscript broken

The improved tooltips greasemonkey script seems to be broken. I tried to use it with Chromium dev builds, but it falls back to plain tooltips, whereas in Firefox simply no tooltips appear at all. I've confirmed it's due to the script, disabling it brings everything back in order.

I just posted an updated version. Consider this a beta release; it works for me, but your mileage may vary. I still need to do some internal code cleanups, but otherwise everything should work.

Changes:

• Works on Firefox and Chrome (as far as I've tested).
• Translation notes are displayed on the tooltip thumbnail (try browsing the note index to test it out).
• Smarter tooltip placement. Tooltips should no longer be placed outside the viewport or on top of the thumbnail.

Hmm...weird, all of a sudden it won't work on the main posts page, it just sits there with Yayoi eating and never loads. On the other hand, it works on text links in the Appeals thread, and on images in the note index.

Sometimes that happens when a request times out in the background. Refreshing the page and trying again should fix it. It can also happen if you're trying to view a tooltip for a post that doesn't exist (i.e. a post that has been double-deleted, or a non-safe post on safebooru).

If it's neither of those, then I dunno. Give me a link to the page where it happened and I'll look into it.

It works fine on text links, the comment page and the note page.

It does not work the main post page or any derivative pages (tag searches, Favorites, subscriptions, etc)

Edit: Oh, and it works in profiles as well.

Does it happen both on Safebooru and Danbooru? Which browser are you using?

Try disabling any other userscripts or extensions you may be running. I've haven't tested compatibility with other scripts yet.

It works in Safebooru but not Danbooru. Firefox 3.5.5

It was working, briefly, on the Danbooru main page, and then it stopped and still isn't working there or in searches.

I don't know why, but while everything works 100% on my other PC, here on my home PC the tips are always placed way at the bottom of the page, i.e. I always have to scroll down to see them (which pretty much makes it useless). Firefox on both.

Which version of Firefox? I've only tested on FF 3.5.

You know, that's probably it. Here I'm using 3.0.15, but I'm pretty sure I've upgraded the other one recently. Love the script, by the way. :)
