Tag Alias: ... -> ellipsis

Aliasing ... -> ellipsis.

Reason: Word tags are preferred over symbols.

I'm going to have to disagree but I can't say why without resorting to examples that may or may not make sense.

stealth edit: Overcomplicated ascii art that has a reasonable word equivalent are the only time I can think of that we've done this.

FWIW, I think it's a bad idea too. Mostly because simple tags like !, ? or ... have a direct 1-to-1 correspondence to things visible in the picture. Ellipsis needs parsing and understanding.

I prefer non-symbolic tags myself. It makes more sense to me to use words rather than unintuitive emoticons which end up obliterated by underscore to space changes and by being forced into lowercase.

If I'm in the minority though, it's not something I'd really care too much about if we keep it as is.

Well I guess it could be fine either way, but if we leave it as ... then there should probably be an alias from ellipsis.
At any rate, it's a woefully underused tag.

I'm with 葉月 et al. here. Symbolic tags are edgy and cool ;)

I'm with Shinjidude. Aside from my general preference for words over symbols and emoticons, it just doesn't look right to me to have tags that consist only of punctuation right next to the ? + – already in the tag list.

This may complicate things, but there's also an artist tagged … (a single-character ellipsis), although there's only one post by them.

Either is fine by me. I'll go with ... for now because 1) incumbent advantage, for what that's worth with 15 posts plus 2) slightly more support in this thread.
